Default Idle problem

well I got my car running again. BUT i ran into another problem, my car 87 turbo supra is Idling lil above one. I dont think it suppose to be that high i believe. AND my idle screw is screw'd in all the way!! any help??

Well for starters screwed all the way in or out. That will make a difference because out is slower and in is faster. Also do a check in the Online manual on here for the test for the Idle speed control valve, the adjustment for the Throttle position sensor, and the proper adjustment of the idle screw. Hope that helps I dont deal with 7MGTE very much so I dont know it off the top of my head. If it was a 1JZ I could tell you quick.

I was having the same problem with my na, I didn't play with the idle screw so I would suggest setting that back to factory, and replace your tps. granted I have the na, but I bet that will fix it. check your timing also, advanced timing will jump the idle.
