oil dipstick/compression Q

what everybody is calling a pcv valve just kinda looks like 2 hose that come out of the crank case and going through a metal pipe to the throttle body is there some thing in there to get clogged or does the pipe just get clogged.

Someone told me the floating dip stick was a sure sign of having blowby. Is this true?

Yes, but a properly operating PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) system helps keep the pressure down.

The port on the throttle body has a smaller hole, to control the "vacuum" (amount of air coming in).

It can get clogged.

I see mine pop every now and again.
But not often. And it hasn't sinse my rebuild.
But my car isn't driving either. Go figure.
