Weird Noises..help!

Ok here the sound my engine is making... and excuse me for not knowing the name of the section its coming from. I'll explain.. when I start the car up cold it makes some what of a gurgling sound as if water is sloshing somewhere.. and it happens when i rev the car... then when the car is warmed up.. it goes away. I have not been able to locate where the sloshing noise is coming from. second: when i shut the car off the makes a whining down noise and then a slight knocking sound in the section that the air intake attaches to. I have attached a photo where the knocking is coming from when i shut it down. it only knocks like 2 or three times then stops but its got me worried. I had sent it to the mechanic cause it wasn't starting, when he got it he said that it started for him and that it has started ever since, he also said that he got some code that dealt with the air intake meter? but he reset it. now since i've gotten it back it also has the antilock brake light on as well as the tems system out... so i am bringing it back to him tomorrow, but i need to know what i might be getting myself into. thanks for the input folks
