I'm in the middle of replacing my power steering rack, shocks, and I'm thinking about my springs too. Any ideas on the best kind? I was looking at some Eibach springs but the only type they have available for the MKII lowers the car an inch which I wouldn't mind doing if I lived in the city but I don't and I'm afraid I would bottom out to much.

Thanks,
D

Does compressing them lower the car any? I'm trying not to do that cuz I have to drive country roads all the time. I don't know a whole lot about the suspension so I was trying to find out what the best brands were that are out there? I need to replace the shocks or struts to. I think it has struts on the front and shocks on the back? Thats what the guy at napa told me anyway. Can anyone else think of anything else that needs to be replaced as far as suspension goes? Nothings really been replaced in a looooong time. So any advice anyone has would be great.
Thanks!
Derek

ohhh i didn't realise you "didn't" want to lower the car hehe
you shouldn't need to replace the springs.. i've never really heard of them wearing etc... are you purely just looking for a different ride?
as far as suspension replacement i would just replace shocks... all bushes... a-arms sway bar etc and probly a strut brace to stiffen her up a bit and make it a little more fun round corners

well...first of all...is that...are you just driving from home to work...n work back home or you were like a racer or anything like that tho...if you were just drive to work n back home than...well..to save money is that...go with the stock spring n shock...cause i were no racer or drift right....so if you drive your car for race or dirft ect. than you have to put something else on it tho....hope that work....
