Serious Help Needed on Swap. Race Car. Long Sorry.

I have a 5m head on a 7m block and a CT26 turbo in an 84 body style car. The car is gutted and is just about as light as I can get it. It has a cage and is just about ready to go down the track except for the electronics. What things do I need to change on my motor to go from N/A to turbo, besides the obvious. Like FPR from a turbo car, distributer from a turbo car? Any small things like that I am missing? I'm new to MKII and MKIII supras and will be the first to admit that I'm lost. I was given this project and need to get it running asap. ANY help would be great.

Also will an 84 harness work with the turbo application or will I need to get a turbo harness?

Is there anything I need to look out for when I go to strip the harness down to the bare essentials? Like a certain sensor or something that the motor needs in order to function properly?


In short I pretty much have only the 7M bottom end and need to know what else I need to have it run with the turbo. I'm worried I'll never get it running like a factory turbo car. I'm still not sure how timing is going to work, fuel pressure is going to work, or how to thin out the harness to the bare minimum. Please help.
