Hey, hows it going. Ya the Column switch is what I am guessing it is. To be honest I don't know what a WCU is (wiper control unit) Usually if something is making noise it should be replaced. I don't really know, but if you only have two to go then your almost there. I have replaced a few column switches and I know they go bad eventually. (a lot on American cars)
