Sulpherdave i dont know how much experience you have with top end cars or not. If i was making that much money i would probably look into getting a top end car with paddle shifting. It's basically the best transmission out there right now and is fast yet still practical. If your awesome as stickshifting already go whatever route i just think that having a paddle shifter would be a dream. being able to shift at about anytime, its so simple you dont have to really worry about it. getting all the advantages of a stick and yet its more like changing the radio on your steering wheel then shifting.

well thats my 2 cents. the lambo murcie is a pretty expensive car but did you think about the new gallardo, seems like the cheapest lambo yet still has every traight of one.

Actually no I have not had any experience driving top end cars and how many others have on here? I'm just saying if making roughly 70-80k a year starting out compared to 30k a year in the past that bumps the fast car market up pretty high so that's why I'm researching now. Depending on how much I can put up and length of time I can wait will determine what price range I can look at. From what I hear though the new EVO X due out soon will have paddle shifters. Not that I'm into 4 doors or anything. I will definitely want a 2 door coupe awd or rwd.

i v8 turbo would be nice but personally id rather have a v6 or i6 just for saving a little weight... also i think having a smaller engine that can eat up some of the other super cars is awesome.i wouldnt mind having the old model is300. fell in love with that car... dont love it as much as the mk3 or mk4 but still sweet. rwd 4 door with a 2jz... ah...

weight saving?
well think of it this way... if you are a fat dood you should lose a few pounds and it'll even out.

all jokes aside, do your realy think an extra 50lb would make a big difference considering the extra 2 cylinders might produce 100hp.

I like my cars stock and hope the it does come out with 450hp.

Rumor

FYI: Rumor has it that an aggressive-sounding V8 powered MKV Supra has been seen driving at an impressive pace around the Higashi Fuji test center... :)

thats true but with added performance comes added price. that 100hp and two more cylinders might tack on a thousand or two... maybe more. im not appossing the v8 in any way, i just like the smaller engines thats all.

ok im chris and im originaly from california and i know some friends who are on the design team for the new supra.....and from wat uv said about toyota supra and it not being a straight 6 isnt true....the guys who are in the mits of designing the new supra are without no doubts putting in a straight 6 with a turbo and N/A model.....now the new supra will have a straight six with aluminum heads and block.....but there is still rumors flying about the team putting together a cheaper way to make to make a straight 8 but more then likely they wont put a straight eight cause of the expense.....the price of one of these bad boys for the straight6 N/A will range from 24 thousand to 32 thousand....now for the twin turbo models they will range from 33,800 thousand to 42 thousand....now for the big boy....the V-8 twin turbo model if it comes out rumors are it will range from 40 thousand to 60 thousand.....and the straight eight would rumor range from 65,800 thousand to 80 thousand.....if u have any other questions please feel free to contact me at wakeboardluver7@yahoo.com... O ya and you are right about it looking like the 350 and gt but that isnt the final draft.....u will love the other drawings believe me i feel in love when i saw them....i wish i could post them online but i could be suied.....

Most of art is inspired from other art. Same goes for technology as well.
Maybe those two cars I mentioned actually did inspire the engineers and designers at Toyota.

Also, if this does happen, I hope they don't call it a Supra.
It is not an inline 6 3.0 liter.
Nor is it turbo charged.
Seems very un-Supra-like to me.

If it does come about and called a Supra, I wonder exactly by how much the average MKIV will decrease by.
I would imagine it would take some of the demand from the MKIV's.

As stated, the the top car in this picture looks like it was inspired from the Carerra GT, and the bottom car looks like the 350Z:
