I have never seen black smoke from a rich condition.Likely he's been running race fuel and is burning his head out.At least that's what I've seen the most.Can't usualy get away with 110 octane with stock heads.Just my 2 cents.

I see black whispy smoke from most modded turbo cars. especially poorly tuned ones. Gas burns with a black smoke when it isnt attomized, as in burning in the exhaust or not completly burning inside the engine. run your car at a 10:1 af ratio and see what the exhaust looks like lol.

Oh, And if it helps, I ran a 15.2 and a 15.58 in my mr2 at Etown on saturday. I beat an e class ebnz (15.7) and lost to a 10 sec mustang. lol.

Riced out Probe- won
Honda Civic 1994- won
Chevy Tahoe 2003 (Exhaust)- won
Cavalier 199?(Rice)- won
Toyota Camry 2005- won
I havent been racing that much.

86.5 supra vs 2000ish cadi cts - won
86.5 supra vs Freinds 96 Mercury Cougar - lost
86.5 supra vs 90 Acura Lengend - lost

I try not to race my car cause it needs a tune up and the car is unsafe being as old as it is and very under maintaned before i bought it.

i was in 5th doing 75 already when he started to catch up
and he passed me like a was doing 30

but from a roll
this new sentra challenged me once
well we have more top speed than that car
cuz i let him pass me, and made himself look like a fool
when i pulled up, blew a kiss to his girl
and dusted him

Yes my thread is still alive!! I still havent gotten any good races in my mr2! except vs my friends civic, but thats no contest. I kinda raced an older(94 ish) bmw m3, not really
