Default For those who asked! Updated pics of my Supra!!

For those who don't remember or just don't know, a few months ago I bought my 88, bone stock. Well, the owner modified the front bumper a bit, but now it's GONE, as I upgraded to the 89-92 style front. I also upgraded the tail lights to JDM, the fogs to Euro style, the turn signals to clear style, the complete moulding set to 89-92 style... Eibach Springs, KYB GR-2 shocks, a new Pioneer MP3 head unit, some cheat steering wheel (heh, 15 bucks! =P) with the Momo adaptor (so I can at least put in a good steering wheel any day now).. hrm.. what else... Oh, the rims, 18x9.5 and 18x8.5 (with 275-35 and 245-40).. Oh, and the 89-92 climate control unit... I'm yet to change the cluster, but I want to. I also changed the whole e-brake handle and bought a new e-brake boot from eBay..

The old thread was this, in case you wanna see how it lookd before:

I wont post pics directly, but instead give all the links. The car has not been washed in about 2 weeks, honestly. I know, I know...

These were taken today, 16th of March 2006. The car is still N/A and automatic... but that should change sometime soon. I'm done exterior-wise... although I need a front lip, and some sort of license plate to put up front... I'm thinking a Japanese one or something... but not sure. Also re-considering those clear turn signals... might go with euro style instead. Let me know your thoughts.

Default Heh!

Hey mate! Nice to see you still wanted to see them :P

Well, remember I'm in Dominican Republic and I ordered pretty much EVERYTHING I've put into it from the states.. so sometimes it takes a while. Funny that you mention the rear bumper, coz the previous owner did that!! He olso modded the front bumper, and honestly, it didn't look bad, but I just love the way this 89-92 one looks, specially with euro fogs, wow. More people are looking at it now, definitely. And the mouldings also make a BIG difference, coz the ones I had were REALLY bad, all bent.. And notice these are JDM mouldings, with no rear side-markers.

Btw, on these pics, the two bumper grills are in the wrong possition. Tomorrow I'll take it so they put them right. The D U M B people at the shop couldn't notice how they go... they have a curve in one of the four corners, DOH, where would it go!?!? =( But it's not even noticeable really... but I want it the right way =)

Oh and knwate, now that I'm pretty much done spending money on looks... the intercooler shall come eventually, don't worry ;-)

BTW, do you know of a good site to bay parts for the body, like, tie rod ends, bushings, etc.. ? I'm also in need of the rear strut hats (the piece that allows holding the spring and the strut together!) and I'm having a hard time finding them. =/

very nice. wish my car looked like that . I think it looks kinda cool without that front lip, i might take mine off now haha. I think those help the radiator not recycle its own air tho. but u can put a little dam right under the radiator.

Default My '88.

http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...ighlight=asked

There it is. =)

I purchased an engine already. Will be installing it as soon as some parts that have already been shipped arrive here. So I might start the swap mid to late next week. I will then post pics, once it's manual and once it's running with over 300 hp (at least @ the crank) instead of the factory 200 on the current automatic tranny. I reckon 300 at the crank is very easy with a 1JZ, rated at 280 stock... intake/exhaust, and you're there.. right? =P

Default Yes!

Sorry for being lazy, but I've been very busy lately. I even did a 1JZ-GTE swap and I've had it up and running for about a week now, feels awesome. =)

Do you happen to have a speedo cable that will work for me btw? It's a 5-spd manual... I'm still now sure if one from a W58 would work, or one from a R154... darn =)

Merge the threads, I will later add pics of engine bay and stuff. =)

where does one go about finding these type of mouldings. mine are the stock ones on an 86.5 and there are bent and are melting off sort of. any help would be much appreciated.
