FullOfProblemsMKIII 04-01-2006 11:38 PM

ur car came out pretty damn insane.....was it a pain to put all the stuff back together?? like dash, wires n all??? cuz it looks challenging

suprra_girl 04-02-2006 12:05 AM

definitely challenging

but as long as you take your time and make sure you don't just try slamming it into place you'll be fine
just gotta remember where everything goes lol

FullOfProblemsMKIII 04-02-2006 04:42 PM

well you got some talent girl...keep it up!

j3pz 04-02-2006 06:17 PM

i'll get some more done on the car hopefully and i'll update :D

JCP 04-10-2006 09:14 PM

i pose another question in reponse to the previous question.. Where can we find them?

suprra_girl 04-12-2006 08:23 AM

supra girl land?

does it exist lol

JCP 04-12-2006 01:03 PM

They must all be at the Z..

j3pz 04-12-2006 05:26 PM

no, no the real question is... how do they come about? i mean if we can find what makes a girl a supra girl... then we can mass produce them so everyone could have one! mmuuuwaaaahaaaaahaaaa

supramanocnsd 04-17-2006 03:49 PM

wow.. really nice job... alot of work for a MKIII ...

JCP 04-17-2006 07:34 PM

Happy Birthday !!
who wants cake ?

suprra_girl 04-17-2006 09:24 PM

lol aww thanks you guys *blush* hehe

lethalwithasupra 04-19-2006 09:28 AM

Hey what's that intake manifold ? Custom ? It's forwards like the 2.5tt tube

IHateHacks 05-30-2006 12:42 PM

So suprra_girl if thats what you do in your spare time, whats your day job?

Is that a typo in your public profile where it says auto?

suprra_girl 08-14-2006 11:27 AM

Lethal: yep it's the 1jz manifold welded onto the 7m lower runners ;)

hacks: nope no typo, i'm auto all the way hehe

so i thought i'd better update to what i've been up to :)

i thought i'd clean up my fan... looks brand new now :D
http://www.supra.co.nz/rebuild/fanthumb.jpg

in the meantime i've just been adding a few bits to the engine like the vacuum line for the power steering, installing the ignitor bracket (even painted it black just for you miagi :-p, would like you to think you had a part of my car haha)
i made a fuse box cover as well... coz my intercooler piping is now going to go in front of the fusebox under the headlight so i had to hide all the wiring just to tidy it up some :)
Battery cables are no longer there, was a temporary power measure hehe
http://www.supra.co.nz/fuseathumb.jpg

http://www.supra.co.nz/fuse2athumb.jpg

gotta make the extension pipe for my throttle body so i can move it (no more hitting bonnet issues or fuel rail clearance etc)

also battery relocation is now complete just need to get a battery box
will be getting the JAZ battery box

Rotational molded plastic case is resistant to battery acid.
Measures 10-1/2” long x 13” wide and 9-1/2” tall
Fits group 24 batteries with top or side post terminals
Complete sealed with gasket in lid
Vent tube to cary battery gasses outside or vehicle
Mounting bracket and all hardware included
http://www.vpw.com.au/images/JAZ-700...at%20box_t.jpg

so things are slowly coming together :D

suprra_girl 08-14-2006 11:28 AM

i've got a friend to alter my 1uz tb to suit a 7m tps so i can just bolt it on and have extended the isc and tps wiring to suit their new locations

Finally got a set of 6 rx7 high impedance 550cc injectors, cleaned and flowtested and they've come out awesome

Bought and installed a HKS PFC Fcon with 550 chip & 1st gen gcc
http://www.supra.co.nz/rebuild/fcon1thumb.jpg http://www.supra.co.nz/rebuild/fcon2thumb.jpg http://www.supra.co.nz/rebuild/fcon3thumb.jpg http://www.supra.co.nz/rebuild/fcon4thumb.jpg

Bought an Aeromotive FPR & Aeromotive Gauge & HKS BOV
http://www.supra.co.nz/rebuild/bovfprthumb.jpg

Buying the Aeromotive fpr fuel line kit from Jeff, cost effective and time effective hehe

Found an oil cooler to replace the stock one (twice the size hehe)
http://www.supra.co.nz/rebuild/oilcoolerthumb.jpg

Using a 1jz power steering cooler, i'm sure they'll be more efficient than the stocker
http://www.supra.co.nz/rebuild/1jzpscoolerthumb.jpg

Got a Garrett TO4B H Trim Turbo (capable of 500bhp :D)
http://supra.co.nz/turbo/turbowg3thumb.jpg

Bought some 3" V - Band Clamps for the exhaust and finally got it all welded up last week wahoooooooooooooo
http://www.supra.co.nz/rebuild/exhaustthumb.jpg http://www.supra.co.nz/rebuild/exhaust2thumb.jpg

Here's my dump hehe
http://www.supra.co.nz/rebuild/dumpthumb.jpg

And they managed to find a spot between 10 o clock & 2 o clock for the wideband bung ;)
http://www.supra.co.nz/rebuild/widebandthumb.jpg

and this is my engine currently (with a clean fan LOL)
http://www.supra.co.nz/rebuild/engineaugthumb.jpg

Next up is to finish the intake/throttlebody and intercooler piping :D

burton51m 08-15-2006 03:48 AM

Sick Ride...Only Hope my Rebuilding of my MK4 goes as well....lol hopefully takes less then a few months...haah...like to drive it befor frist snow fall...lol

Isphius 08-26-2006 01:04 AM

Very nice work so far :) I give it 2 thumbs up. I wish there was some nice mk3s around here. Or any nice cars for that matter. Ive never seen any modified car around here aside from 5.0 mustangs and old american cars, Which are still cool anyway. But not enough :(

SupraSaver87 08-26-2006 10:27 PM

Wow!!!

You are my insperation, honestly. I looked at your car one of the first days that I joined the forum, looked at the pics...then set in my mind to build my supra with some of the stuff I saw on your car, I LOVE that custom manifold.

Now, since I want to do some of the stuff you did....WHERE DID YOU START??? You know I look at my car, and I just stop thinking about it...there are so many choices, so many things that I want to get done, and I just don't know.

I have to fix my body first, its.....a little rusted, mostly on the doors, around the area that the trim anchors would be...there are about 3 inch rust spots at each anchor point...along with wheel well rust through, and undercarrage rust...not through though.

Then I would like to get a new set of rims, although I COULD do that WHILE the body is getting repaired.

Is upgrading the stock turbo good enough, I would like to max my HP out at 580rwhp, but still able to turn up the boost, and make 650RWHP if possible.

So could you lend me some advice?

ToySupra97 11-06-2006 04:51 AM

Hey guys and gals I hate to be the bearer of bad news but did anyone else notice that shes using an SS autochrome manifold? Thats pretty dangerous if you ask me. If you look inside the collector of the manifold it is nasty. where the pipes come together they are all jagged and weld mess all over the place. Not to mention along every weld on the runners if you feel inside the runner there is so much slag inside its unreal. If you can take a pic of the collector and post it up I curious if they are all the same. Dont take this as a flame it is far from that. I am only expressing concern. when I saw those manifolds I thought to myself " Man I wonder what would happen if a piece of metal broke off inside the runner and went into my turbo."
check it out and post a reply
Jason

Oh almost forgot Awesome Car! Kudos Girl :)

whitequasimodo 11-06-2006 06:16 AM

$$

how much do you think it all cost you for everthing.
and if you had some one do all the engine work what do you think it would cost you.

going to do it to my mk3, but dont know how much its going to set me back.
my paint is in ok just some bad paint here and there.

also i love everthing that you have done to the car. keep posting some more pics

BIGMALIK00 12-20-2006 02:55 AM

you and another female in Clublexus.com forum have inspired me. I am no longer letting anyone work on my car(except the engine swap) I am not mechanically inclined but I will try... thanks.. and the car is looking good.

suprra_girl 12-16-2007 11:10 AM

thanks for all the comments :D

suprahhh 05-21-2008 05:41 PM

I feel like a student back in class and you are my kick-*ss teacher! Nice job, the cars lookin' Supralicious!!:yum:

yotaracer28 05-21-2008 11:20 PM

Awesome job...love the car...that oil cooler? is that a intercooler radiator from an all trac? if not it looks identical to the one i pulled from my parts car that i will be using as an oil cooler also....great job...hope it performs up to your expectations

suprra_girl 05-21-2008 11:38 PM

Thanks ya'll :)

Um.. I have 3 oil coolers, to which are you referring lol. The one on top of my intercooler is an ebay special which i use as my secondary transmission cooler. I have a jza70 power steering cooler as the stock steel tubes just weren't enough for me and the square one is my actual engine oil cooler which is factory from a Mitsubishi Pajero :)

The car is definitely living up to my expectations so far :D Didn't expect the no traction thing tho haha... it's still fun tho :)

SuperSpartan 06-17-2008 12:18 PM

WOW just wow!
seriously more women like you would be great. better if they were my age lol

and wheres your connection for parts?
