You can just rewire the knock sensor, it's more than likely just the wire going to the knock sensor that is toast, hardly ever the sensor itself.
That is what I did and it worked like a charm....

It's the front pan and I doubt the pumps are the same also, so does that mean it wouldn't work? Because I don't know if the 7mge oil pump will suffice, for the 7mgte.

What motor is it???????? If its a 7mgte, I would go ahead and replace the head gasket with a thicker, metal one. Also check the wiring harness to see if any of the wires are old and brittle, if so...

Yea I changed out the steering rack bushings and I've got control arms next but I was wondering if I could just get rid of the steering stabilizers all together, ya know.
