take off the a/c compressor, a/c rad and lines....

take off the a/c compressor, a/c rad and lines. thats a good start. The power driver seat is stupid heavy. so replacing it will reduce your weight.

Those upgrades sound like a great start. When you do the flywheel you'll want to put a stronger clutch in to hold the increase in power you'll be attaining....

yes the engine does turnover, the starter is relatively new. I'll check on the fuel smell thing. I haven't noticed it. Not an overwhelming smell anyway.

Not saying you don't know what burning rubber smells like. but if your hand brake line got ceased and or one your rear calipers is ceased that would make up for the scrapping...
