If you're getting the head machined and the block lapped, I suggest going with an HKS metal HG and ARP studs torqued to ARP specs. I think thats around 80 ft/lbs or so. MHG and ARP studs are the best...

First off, it'll help for you to know that the MKII Celica Supra used a 5MGE. I believe early model Toyota Cressidas also used this engine. Unless you're dead set on the 5M, I'd find a 7MGE or 7MGTE....

unless you have a turbo, don't bother with the header. no aftermarket header will bolt-on, there has to be modifications done to it so that itll fit. more money than its worth.
