Most of the cars I have owned have had that problem. I just keep adding fluid because there are so many other problems I put ahead of rebuilding the brake booster. Just adding fluid is lazy/annoying...

I'm afraid not. You need to order head bolts and the like from an auto parts supplier. I only use home depot bolts for "low stress" applications.

If you didn't change wheel/tire size I would suspect the gear in the tranny that drives the cable. You would need one with a different ratio to compensate ,but I have no idea how involved a task that...

Don't know why ,but that threw me for a loop too. I actualy ended up snapping the damn things off :( it does clip on the plastic part just like any other blade ,the release it just a bit elusive....
