It connects to the water bypass pipe that is not accessible unless the upper intake manifold and EGR valve is off the engine. Even with those off it still is a pain in the ass to get to.

Even if they used ARP moly lube at 58ft/lbs it is not enough. They probably used motor oil.

Sounds like you have a choice of tearing it apart...
