Youll have to change the pickup and oil pan...

Youll have to change the pickup and oil pan also..The motor mounts may be different..

Yeah and the oil pump also..Forgot about that..A 7MGTE is fairly difficult swap for the novice..Some of the guys on celicasupra.com could probably do it in a weekend..

No mods..It is a direct swap over..The only diference in the 5 and 6MGE's is the crank..The 5MGE is only 2.8litre and the 6MGE uses a longer stroke crank from the 7MGE which turns it into a 3.0litre...
