So it turns out you cant lift the engine just enough to remove the oil pan, it needs more clearance than that. The tsrm states that you can just lower the crossmember with a jack and put it on 2 jack...

Ok, well I would get dealer rings if i could, but they are much too expensive. I found nippon piston rings for $48. doesn't nippon make oem spec?
