Coil Spring Color Code

Pulled out the front shocks and didn't make note of which coil spring was left and which was right. One has 1 pink and 2 blue bands and the other has 1 pink and 2 yellow. Anyone know which is left...

Thank you! That's exactly where it goes. Now I remember, replaced that hose with non-formed and the bracket doesn't fit. Should probably get the correct hose.


On a side note: Fixed the EGR...

At the time I was dealing with heater hose but can't figure out where it would bolt on.

If the fuel line fittings are taper thread, then the teflon tape will work. But, if the fuel fittings are flared tubing or a banjo bolt, the tape will do nothing.

As to the alarm, try unlocking...

It has been a while since I changed my head gasket (about 10 years ago at around 142,000 miles) but I don't recall any issues with the timing cover. However, I did not take anything off the block.

I payed $20K for my 86.5 SR/SS 5 speed in August...

I payed $20K for my 86.5 SR/SS 5 speed in August of 86. I had 103 miles because they drove it in from another dealer.
