Default Mystery Clamp

Anyone know where this goes?
I took it off ten years ago and don't remember.
At the time I was dealing with heater hose but can't figure out where it would bolt on.
86.5 NA manual.

Thanks

It's like you said: heater hose area. I believe I've seen this at the very back of the head in the valley holding a hose. The hex retaining plug for the valley plate, behind spark plug number 6, is threaded in the center. I have a GTE so I can't be more specific other than remembering photos I've seen or parts yard flashbacks.

Thank you! That's exactly where it goes. Now I remember, replaced that hose with non-formed and the bracket doesn't fit. Should probably get the correct hose.

On a side note: Fixed the EGR cooler cover to block leak with JB Weld and it has held so far for a couple hundred miles.
