right. sure. whatever you say. the supra uses less effort to create the same amount of power your cuda will ever make. so far as them being drag runners, ya'll are both wrong. they can be setup to make 7, 8 & 9 second runs. the only difference is that the supra can still be STREETABLE, the domestic cant be. ;)

and people wonder why the first thread was locked :rolleyes: if this is going to continue to be a mud slinging excersise, this thread will be locked. supra owners, he is obviously trying to get a bite out of you guys, and it's working, supras were not built as dragcars, they do it, and are efficient at it, but there are limits to it where technology does come to a point and you do need sheer size to continue. 3litres is not a hell of a lot compared to the big blocks that they run in dedicated drag cars. let him have the drags, and just blow his doors off on the street. acousticrawk, you have made some valid points in the posts you have made, nothing beats experience, how ever, sub 9's is starting to get into non streetable territory, and most of the cars on this forum are still street and daily driven.

im not picking sides of the supra or the camaro, do you guys pay attention? im saying by the video, that supra didnt stand a chance even if mario andretti (sp?) was driving it. if your sup will run with my cuda, come on to kil-kare dragway here in ohio, and ill put the headlights is so itll be streeable too, just for you. haha. my old man being my pop BTW. i never said there is no replacement for displacement....my cuda would blow on the highway at 140+150 mobbing in and out of cars. in a straight line, i will drag any street legal supra any day, and %99.9 of the time, i will win, and if i losse, its proally because something broke. oh, and i havnt been around supras long enough? i worked for toyota until i left for college, nice try, cincinnati branch and service for Voss Toyota. ill bet my boys all TRD modded solara would eat about any supra you all own thats street legal.
