ive worked on ls1s. they are a good design, but already outdated. besides, your comparing a z28 ss which CANT compare to a supra. they have goobs of torque that just burn tires. i hear the same crap from my father day after day about american cars. i like em to but, they will never be better than a supra. they drop in value, made of cheap materials and still camshaft limits. build a 350 and u will understand where i come from...

it wont go up against a camaro or firebird. it will more likely be aimed at the corvette. the new engine is an ls7 with 500hp redline at 7100rpm.
