ya know in most states anyone can exceed the speed limit if the car which is being passed is "BELOW" the posted speed limit. even if the the car you were passing was under the speed limit, the police officer is going to win this one, as its not reasonable or "normal" for someone to pass another car, or three, at that speed. I'd think 80-85 mph would be the limit on a pass. It's the common sense rule.
