Models Go Here. Car Models, That Is--Post 'em up! Warning: Pic Intensive
Well, I have been wanting to make models' thread for some time in an OT section, so here goes the thread.
This is how I have my goodies displayed: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...sdisplayed.jpg Got my two Lamborghinis to the left (Countach & Diablo): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Tony9RR/5.jpg An assortment of the best of the best, by today's standards: Saleen S7, McLaren F1, & Ferrari Enzo (aka F-60): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Tony9RR/1.jpg |
Another Saleen S7 in a different color and a Ferrari Maranello 550 (both of which can touch 200 MPH!).
The Maranello 550 is the car that sort of replace the 512TR aka Testarossa. Although it is very different in some ways than the Testarossa, it is still like it in that they both are the second from the top in terms of power and more expensive than the 308, 328, 348, 355, & 360 line, yet not in the elite category like the GTO, F-40, F-50, & F60. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Tony9RR/7.jpg The Porsches; Boxter & a 911 GT3 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Tony9RR/8.jpg Before the Enzo aka F-60, there was an F-50, before that, there was an F-40, and before that, Ferrari's top racer available to some select buyers was the GTO. These are both the top of the line Ferraris in their day: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Tony9RR/4.jpg |
I am such a big GTO fan, that I need to get a different angle heheh:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Tony9RR/3.jpg Super Bikes section: From front to back; Yamaha R1 (Yamaha took back the Super Bike throne when this bike came out. It once had the throne with its FZR 1000, and the R1 was a modernized version that also took first spot), Ducati 996, & Honda NR750 (which has two oval pistons, instead of 4 smaller pistons). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Tony9RR/2.jpg This is also a 1/18th scale model of a bicycle I once owned (heheh). It was made at Venice BeachCalifornia like six years ago from a fellow by the name of Robert. He made it out of wire while using two needle nosed pliers. I was very impressed with his skills and had to tip and compliment that man for his 'magic'. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Tony9RR/6.jpg |

It's a 'mini me' or 'mini mine' I should say of your car. Very nice. I know some of you folks will get a kick out of the following pics. They are not mine but belong to one of my best bud's and he is shy but told me that it would be cool to put them up for him. He painted all this!: http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/...elEngine11.JPG http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/...elMockup16.JPG Primed but not painted yet; still in progress: http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/...odelShots5.JPG |
Looks like a real car--even has the oil and the realistic effect of under body grease and dirt!
Check out the tranny. http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/...uspension3.JPG I will do my part on getting him to post up pics when he is done with it (painting & clearing it). |
