Default My friends turbo idea

my friend has this idea of a twin turbo system with a small turbo and a big turbo and some butterfly valves.........well he kinda explains in this pic he made

if you guys understand what he's talking about tell me what you think

(personally i think its a dumb idea)

ive had that idea before and figured somone already thought of it, wasnt such a hit for some reason

lol i just googled this topic for the last 50mins and couldnt find much... maybe someone else will have better luck

isnt that how sequential turbos work?
i believe instead of the butterfly valve in your friends idea
they have wastegates that open up in diffrent pressure

Question.. Generally for a supra, which one is better, a turbo or a supercharger?
