Hello I just Bought a 1987 Supra BLue Love it nice shape too I bought the car used (of Course) and drove it 60 miles at first it was sputtering and had no power but once i ran it for a 20 miles i stoped and put some Fuel injector cleaner and it started to to stop sputtering a little and had more power Im a noob to the supra and am glad to be a part of the family but any suggestions to this sputtering problem would be awesome im going to give it a complete oil change and tune up and hope that helps maybe change the fuel filter.

I have a blue 1987 supra as well and when it started sputtering it was a blown headgasket, it could be a small thing like a clogged fuel filter. I highly reccomend you get it diagnosed at a local shop! Also check your oil for any foamy look to it, thats a big sign of a BHG. I would just seriously get that car checked out.
