Default N/A to Turbo Swap

So I thought about purchasing a N/A supra not Turbo but doing the conversion to a Turbo platform. I was told that to do the the conversion right it would cost 10-15k and to just pay the extra money and buy one one that is already turbo and rebuild.

Any thoughts? Anyone done the conversion?

I thought I could buy a N/A for 10-15k and then drop 10-15K into it. Now it seems that I am looking at 20-25k for the TT 6speed and then need to drop 5-10 to do the upgrades.

Just wondering what options I have. Thanks in advance

If you want a turbo, buy a turbo.

when it comes to mkiv and your broke deffintly buy a turbo version but the swap might cost you tops 10k pending on if you get new parts or someone is parting one out(very rare)

if you get an mkiii its like 3k to do a turbo swap
just putting it out there

Not broke at all... but it seems I can get a N/A for so much less and most of them have a lot less miles on them.

Just wondering if its a headach to do the swap or if I should just invest the extra 10-15k and buy a already turbo car
