Yes the stock fan moves plenty of air for Arizona heat.
If you find out that the stock fan is insufficient after you install the shroud, first make sure that your fan has 10 blades on it. If it doesn't, find a GTE 10-blade fan. It's what your car was supposed to come with from the factory. If that still doesn't work, call up champion toyota and order yourself a Tundra V8 Fan clutch. It'll fit right in, and it moves more air with the stock fan than the stock clutch does. Just make sure everything's in order before you go replacing parts. You could very well do all of this and find out that you've got a clogged radiator... go about it the right way and you'll have no problems. Upgrade as you replace. Typically it's cheaper that way. |
