Default 1987 Supra Turbo wiper blade arms

Any one have any leads on where my son could get some replacement wiper blade arms for the above. Whoever at Toyota decided that screwing the wiper blade to the arm was a good idea should be fired. Seems like about 14 seconds after you replace one the screws rust and seize then break off on removal as is the case on the passenger side already.
Thanks

Wink Simple Fix.

I had the same problem, as do most supra owners (I am not going to remove, and oil those screws every month.....PUH!!!). Here is what I did:

1) Take a drill press, or have a steady handed person drill out the old screws, and enlarge the hole SLIGHTLY.

2) Now you simply have to find screws that are long enough for small nuts to be screwed on the other side. and put on the new brackets for the wipers.

It took me about 40 mins to do this, and I had to re-drill two holes, they were offcenter, so the screwes didn't fit into the holes on the bracket.

With this fix, you can elimiate having to get the broken screws out of the arm, and if the new ones rust, then they can be loosen'd, and just pulled out.

Hope that works for you...and don't worry about the asthetics of it, they look no diff than anything else. You are the only one that can see the nuts, so if you care, then well.....TOUGH!!!...lol.
