help my gas tank!!!
i just bought my first supra the only problem is that my gas tank cover is stuck! can someone give me a hand???

Have someone in the car play with the lever while u try to pry it open with a flat head. I bought mine like that. It was low on gas when I bought it so I went to the nearest gas station and called the guy i bought it from to come help. And he did. The gas door cable in mine was stretched so I will be buying a new one sometime soon. I think its like $38? I just took off the latch and bent the hinges so that it stays wedged in the body and when i need it, i just hit the quarter panel and it pops open, but it usually comes open by itself.

you do know there is a lever on the floor left of driver seat correct?

No offense intended. You said you just got your Supra. Not all cars have an interior latch and I didn't want you to try prying it open with a screw driver not knowing that.

your best bet is to jus pry that thing open then if you wanna make it look good after breaking it you can opt for the external lock which has a keyhole, so you jus have to key it everytime you need to that way do dont have to mess with the cables
