chicago ignorance, we jus straight up ignant

your best bet is to jus pry that thing open

then if you wanna make it look good after breaking it

you can opt for the external lock
which has a keyhole,
so you jus have to key it everytime you need to
that way do dont have to mess with the cables

i had the same problem.. bought it with noooo gas. drove 15 miles to gas station in town. couldnt get the flap open. got super pissed and called for help. i look at it as that this way its harder for people to steal my gas. so i just keep a small piece of cardboard with me in the glovebox and whenever i get gas i just wedge it into the flap and then go pull the handle.. it opens nooo problem everytime. also, my way might be a little less harmful then the "screwdriver" method. whatever works for you though

Default Absolute worst

The worst thing that can break is your hood latch. Almost impossible to fix, even after buying a new one. It might sound easy, but believe me, I was under that car with sticks, coat hangers and any thing else you could think of for days before I finaly brought it to a body guy I know, and even he bit*hed at how hard it was. Told me not to come back if it happens again.
