Unhappy Dipstick

what sup guys.. i have a little problem the dipstick on my supra dont fit in the hole. is there a trick to it. i know is the correct one cause i even got a new one from toyota. you can see the pictures. i try everything i can think.. or you guys know a website that can show demos. anything can HELP...thx guys

PS. this is the only thing is keeping me from finishing my car...!!!

I just took one of those dipstick tubes out of an engine block.

From the following pic, you are putting the tube in backwards.
At the end, you have to press it in, and the thickest part of that tube goes up top; and the thinnest end goes in the block.
Just thought I would say that based on the pic you show, in what appears that you are trying to assemble it upside down.

this is the way im trying to put it on. the thing is that the tip of it is to wide.

Hmm, I think I may know what happened.
When they took it out, they used a hammer and that may have dented the insde end or widened it?
Why not try to file the edges to make the tip more tapered.
If you have power tools you could do that in a couple of minutes.
Or drag the inner end against the concrete to sort of make the outside diameter smaller at the tip, then you could just press it in after you get it inserted in the hole.
