Cool Nailing Toyota for parts prices - please help?

I am really asking for a lot of help on this one, cause Toyota have been ripping us off for so long in South Africa, that I always have to import parts myself...

I have finally gotten a response from Toyota SA, and they want competetive pricing for parts (like they can't find out themselves) and then they will look at discounting the bunch of things that I need - The prices here are THREE to FOUR times more expensive than in the US.

Could anyone get prices from a Toyota dealer there for the following, and then I will go back to our guys and shove it in their faces for a fat discount. Just as a comparison, I am able to get a rear hatch rubber from the US for $60 (shipped), and here it costs $210 - COME ON! I already had to pay $10 000 (rare cars here) for my 1987 n/a so now the parts are going to screw me in.

If someone could give me comparative prices on:
clutch kit / p/plate and bearing
rear hatch seal
steering rack rubber boots
suspension bushes
lower wishbone arms
upper A arms (I think - the one that has the ball joint? - sorry I am dumb here)
black strip under front bumper
rotors and pads
speedo cable

I would really appreciate your help guys, cause man, I can't enjoy my car

Jonny K

awesome - thanks very much. Would be a great start if you could get going on the items I have listed above, as I have been buying things from all over and would prefer one source... Could you pm me?

Make sure thought that the upper control arms are for a right hand drive, as something tells me they may be slightly different for a leftie.

If you can source eibach springs and koni shocks as well you will have a bunch of bits to ship over

Cheers

Jon
