ive sat in an mk4 before and im like 5'10''....u say ur 5'...soo im thinkin you might have a problem here....the seats are adjustable...but not up and down its the normal forwards and backwards....im not sure....i will honestly say that if you can see the road in an mk3 you should be ok...cause the seats are pretty low in an mk3....i dunno if that helps...ill try and find some dimensions and get back to you
