Question Engine Swap Questions: SE approach?

I was wondering is it a smart approach to buy an SE model and do an engine swap on the Mark IV?

If so how much does it usually cost? Being aware of the risk of poor work..

Besides the difference in engines, is the SE model comparable in all other performance (e.g. suspension, transmission, frame/weight)?
