Default Dash lights

as i was driving to work today, in the left dashboard section the light with a car & i assume hazard signs at the rear wheels appeared- what does this mean?

Rear tail light failure, which includes brake light bulb failure.

this to confused me when I first looked at it.
I thought it was anything from Trunk latch open to alarm turned off! lol. very non descript light.

go somewhere dark and turn on your lights, then go look at your tail lights, see if any aren't lighting up. FOr me it was burned out bulb. if that's it then.

open up the trunk and on the back part there should be covers right behind the tail lights, take those off and you will be able to see the tail light from the inside, there's a big white block like thing that you can remove, those hold the bulbs, remove the bulb and change it.

its ezier with 2 people.. have the one guy hit the brakes so you can look at the pulled assembly and see which one exactly is not lighting up. I pulled both mine at the same time (left and right brake light assembly) so i could be positive it was one of those.)
