Hi! I have a 7mgte engine and needs a new crank/rods/inserts,etc.. I was wondering if i could take the block of a NON turbo 7m engine and put it on my 7mgte head?? Will the turbo be too much to handle for the 7mge block?

The 7M-GTE Block has oil nozzles at the bottom of each cylinder bore to aid cooling. You may find the 7M-GE block has provision for them but blanked off, in which case just transfer the nozzles from one engine to the other. I think it’s the same case with the turbo oil feed and return into the block, I think the 7M-GE has a blanking plate that can be removed, your need to check that out though. The pistons are defiantly different, not sure about the rods and crank.
