I the movie the car was originally a non-turbo converted, If you have the movie you can see when they pop the hood and jesse says 2jz no s**t this will desimate all after $15000 in parts from , over night from japan.

Anyway when he pops the hood you can see the intake going over the valve cover the tell tell it is a 2jz and not a 2jzgte twin turbo.
