Does Anybody Know about the 1JZ-GE?

Hey whats Up Guys Im New Here And Im a United States Marines Stationed Out here in Okinawa japan and I have a buddy who has A 97 Toyota Chaser with A 1JZ-GE in it and i was wondering what all would i need to convert it to a 1JZ-GTE? could i just swap the Stock Turbos and Manifold off of one or would i have to do more like change the ecu, airflow meter? i could probably get all the pats off of a toyota mark 2. any advice will be helpful.

buy a 1jz-gte, they are very cheap.

ok so if i bought one what all would i need to complete the conversion though?
