Default 18" Wheels

Recently i picked up some new 18" x 9.5" wheels for my supra, currently the rubber that came on them is 255/40R18's on the back and 225/40ZR18's on the fronts, now i want to buy new rubber for them and i have searched around for what seems to be a good answer in getting a 285/35/18 - 255/35/18 combo... the old rubber on the 255/40/18's is at around 80%, i was thinking about buying some new rubber on the back and putting the old 255/40/18's on the front.

This a good call? will there be any issues in rubbing any where? i know when buyin rubber i should replace all of em at once but im broke and want to drive my car in the up coming summer.

Any info any of you might have would be appreciated
