Well I have a question. What are the differences between these two 3.0 inline 6 toyota engines,lol, besides the horsepower difference and the twin turbo option. I've just wondered about it.

What do you need to know? The 2jz-gte is a different engine family, with different block casting, design, and heads. The design changes are a part of why the engine develops more power. As such, engine management is also different. It is not a direct drop-in replacement for the 7m-gte. A lot of stuff has to change to get one in. I understand the subframe for the 7m-gte is different for the 2jz-gte. I'm not sure about the differences in clearances.

They're both inline six cylinder gas engines. Everything else is different.
