Also for some reason when i reach about 120K the engine light comes on and stays on until i let off the gas, so It can't be a code since it turns right off.

That is not true. Check it for codes. Just because the light goes off doesn't mean there isn't a code. And, parts from a '92 TT should match up just fine. Toyota didn't re-tool for a short product run just before making a model change. And, yes, stock brakes are semi-metallics.
