this is wat happened to me the first day i got mine! thank god i had my dad wit me at first i had to hold the lever and while i was, my dad had to push the door and den it opens but if u do wat mnew siad just pull that lever a couple of times and kinda hard but dnt break it lol but yeah it should start opening easily dats wat i did GOOD LUCK
