Exclamation Need Help with motor

I just bought an 89 supra and drove it for 2 weeks and the motor blew, so I am gonna buy a twin turbo and put in it. Will the computers match up? and how hard would it be to change it to the twin turbo?

Oh yeah which one is better the 2.5 twin turbo or 3.0 twin turbo?

Any info would be helpful thanks

go with the 3.0l turbo. its bigger. rember theres no replacement for engine replacement. you can have a 3.0l and do everything you want to it but if someone gets a differnet 5.0l engine and do about the same things youve done. hell eat you. go with the 2jzgte. strong motor. pricy. worth it at the end.

Thanx for helping me pick the motor but will the computer match up in it? And how hard is it to switch the 7M-GTEU into the 2jzgte, and What will I need to switch it over?

ive neveer done the swap but i heard its a little bit technical but can be still done. not too hard to do. i knw ull need the 2jzgte ecu, wiring, get the 6 spd tranny, u might have to customize drive shaft (not sure), also might have to change the slave cylinder. theres going to be some wiring work envolved. a little bit head ache but at the end its all worth it. ur gettign a bullet proof motor with no head gasket problems. they can do close to 800 reliable hp as long as you tune it and dont detonate. ur good. but dunt drive it everyday like it you stole it.lol. 800hp is alot man, u dunt even need that much i would concetrate more on suspension and brakes and tires to make the car drive nice and handle nice. good luck on the swap and if you need parts let me knw. i gota buddy that goes to japan every 6 months and brigns back containers full of goodies.
