eBay Motors: CT20 CT26 MAJOR TURBO,TURBOCHARGER REBUILD KIT USA (item 310031651248 end time Mar-20-08 08:49:14 PDT) that is a good place to start. Its a rebuild kit. I paid 900 for the 89 targa turbo that i just got, but the body is a lil rough and needs a paint job. All the things you stated are all wrong with mine too, and that is why I say turbo rebuild. You may need a new BOV too, cause chances are if you spool and get off the throttle you can surge the turbo and almost cause it to turn the wrong way. damaging it. I would reccomend a turbo rebuild and a BOV. that way u dont surge the turbo. Just a few basic ideas of what to do, and how to go about it... |
