What does that mean?

It doesn't pop up?

It doesn't go down?

It doesn't stop when up?

Usually when something does what it wants, that thing has a brain and some sort of intelligence, so either your retracter relay box has developed artificial intelligence, or your car in haunted.

Well in that case I have no idea.

j/k....

The one that doesn't move, can you hear the motor turning? Can you manually pop it up easily? If the motor is inop, check for power and ground at the motor, the motor also has position sensors to shut the power off when they get at the up and then down positions.

If you can pull it up easily and the motor is working, then the rod between the motor and the light has come off.

First thing is to check the fuses, then power and ground at the motors, and each rod is connected between the motor and the light. You can check that by removing the rubber cover on the top of the motor and manually turning the motor. If that works then the rod connection is good. They should also turn pretty easy. If they are hard to turn the motor might be seized or the light hinge is bent or something.

The retractor relay is under the dash on the drivers side, its green if I remember right.

Default re: head light problem

being that this was posted a while ago. not sure if this is going to help.but if you are still looking at this problem... see if the head lights work when the hood is open!!! if they do your head light is geting hung up on the hood.there are adjustment screws under the hood to raize or lower your hood.philp head screws w/rubber attached to them so when the hood shuts it dont damage the hood. if this is the problem raize the ones around the problem head light. worked for me

happy motoring
