Yeah but finding parts for the Getreg . that might be a problem in a year or two. On the second note , the supra TT Auto Tranny isnt that strong. i've Blone them up at 425 hp one held to 475 for a week , The hole point of the swap would be the mass Aftermarket for the T-56.

Yes you are correct. I was refering to the 5 speed tranny tho. My mistake. I didn't specify. The Supra auto trannies aren't that strong. One would need to have it built.

that would be interesting to know about though, Do they sell Built 5 speed getregs?

Nope, only 6 speeds. The 5 speed MKIV supra is a beefed up W58 tranny that the nonturbo MKIII supras used. The R154 (the one I was refering to) is pretty damn strong. I'd guess it can hold about 800+ ft/lbs of torque when it's rebuilt.
