Default Engine and 6-speed dimensions

Anybody know the height width and length of the 3.0 twin turbo engine and tranny? I'm looking to do an engine swap into my 69 Jag e-type. I want to keep it as a straigt 6 and what could be better than this?

There are a lot of specifications that have been published for the 2jz-gte and the jza80 components, but I don't believe that the exterior engine & tranny dimensions are among them. Perhaps if you went to a Supra meet in your area, an owner would allow you to take a measuring tape to his engine bay?

Too bad you're not in the Atlanta area...if you brought over a six pack, we could work together to take all the measurements you'd need from my Supra lol.

I hope another Supra member might have these handy, or perhaps the measurements of the 7M with its 5spd transmission (at least that'd give you a very rough starting point, since the platforms are similar).

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.

Good point. If anybody out there is willing to take some measurements for me I'll compensate you for your time.

thanks
