Fwiw, I just checked my US-spec (lhd) '94 TT, and the only two switches on the right side of the steering wheel are for cruise control, and the windshield washer fluid. Neither of them are red. *shrug* Deepee, could you post a picture of the button you're talking about? Tia... Oh, and 00400-14514 is the Toyota part number for the owner's manual for your Supra. Curt Aigner or Jeff Watson should be able to get it for you.
