Default 1995 N/A Question

I am currently in the process of buying a 95 N/A Supra with a little under 150k miles. The car on the outside is in great condition. However, I am new to Supras and was wondering if I should be on the look out for any problems that may occur.

Also, I was advised to rebuild the engine before I turbo it. Any thoughts on this? I think its a good idea.

Thanks

It depends on the compression test results of the engine. If that 95 na mkiv was well-maintained, with synthetic oil and 93 octane fuel for it's life, it may be just fine for a turbo conversion as-is.

You'll find a bit more information on n/a mkiv's here:

...and a bit more on buying & selling mkiv's here:

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.
