I was looking at this kit
http://www.suprastore.com/bolost2notot.html 1. Do i have to buy stage 1 first? 2. it says it has everything you need to turbo a stock mkiv, but is that true? as in can i just bolt it on and thats it? (i would have the work professionally done) thanks |

I'd suggest you call Suprastore and ask them about it, just to confirm. If you decide to purchase, when it arrives lay out the kit and be sure you understand how everything works and hooks together. If you take this step, you (or you and your installer) should be able to identify any missing parts. Lastly note that kit specifies ""approximately"" 525hp, which is "approximately" 445rwhp through a 5spd, and "approximately" 395rwhp through an auto. This kit does not suggest it would be possible to push even one more horsepower than that at even at max boost (even if you change the turbo someday). If you wish to change to a bigger turbo someday, it may require other supporting modifications including a thicker headgasket and different injectors...and that's only if the other turbo you want to use fits at all.
